Meaningful Remembrance Day 🌺


On Sunday, 10th November 2024, the Watling Centre hosted a heartfelt Remembrance Day ceremony that brought together people from diverse communities to honor those who have served.


The event was enriched by the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including:

  • Deputy Lieutenant: Martin Russell and his wife
  • The Mayor of Barnet: Councillor Tony Vourou and his wife
  • David Pinto-Duschinsky, MP for Hendon
  • Councillors: Sara Conway, Kamal Gurung, Ammar Naqvi, Lachhya Bahadur Gurung
  • Commandant Middlesex & NW London ACF: Col. Angela Richardson
  • Harry Gilling, Former Chairman of Watling Community Association
