Empowering Our Community with Lifesaving Skills ❤️

In the UK, South Asians face a significant health challenge: they are nearly twice as likely to develop heart disease compared to the local population.

This statistic is particularly alarming for Bengali, Pakistani, and Indian men, who experience higher mortality rates from heart disease. Given these stark realities, raising awareness and promoting preventive measures within our community is more crucial than ever.

A Community of Talent and Commitment

Fortunately, our community through BONC is blessed with a wealth of talented professionals who are dedicated to making a difference. This was evident during a recent CPR training session held at Sajha Ghar, where our volunteers and experts shared their knowledge and skills with eager participants.

To continue this momentum, similar training sessions and workshops will be held every other Saturday at Watling Community Centre.

We encourage everyone to sign up and be a part of this empowering journey. Together, we can make a real difference in the health and well-being of our community.
