Established in 2004, the Burnt Oak Nepali Community (BONC), led by Mr. Udai B Gurung, empowers Nepali individuals, particularly ex-Gurkhas, in Burnt Oak. The community leverages diverse talents, including financial, medical, and practical skills, to address various issues.
BONC emphasizes engaging the younger generation in leadership roles to preserve culture and traditions and includes them in decision-making. Supported by two local councillors, BONC effectively navigates local government and advocates for the community’s needs, strengthening their efforts to build a better community.
