Edgware & District Radio Society

Amateur radio, also sometimes known as ham radio, is both a hobby and a service that uses various types of radio equipment, allowing communication with other radio amateurs locally and round the world for the purpose of self-training, recreation and public service. Edgware and District Radio Society is one of the oldest clubs of its kind in London, being formed in 1937. We have been meeting at Watling Community Centre for over 40 years and welcome anyone who is interested in the hobby. You do not need to be licenced.
